From the cooling of battery packs in electric vehicles to the precise heat dissipation of high-power chips in intelligent computing centers, the liquid cooling pipeline, as the "blood vessels" of the thermal management system, is moving from behind the scenes to the forefront, becoming the core beneficiary of the trillion-dollar blue ocean market. 
According to a research report by Western Securities, the global market for liquid cooling components for data centers is expected to reach 15.7 billion US dollars by 2027, with a compound annual growth rate of 35% from 2025 to 2027. At the same time, the liquid cooling industry as a whole is moving from the "pilot stage" to "mass production", and is heading towards a scale of hundreds of billions of US dollars. 
Technological Leap: From "Optional" to "Essential" Liquid Cooling Revolution
The rise of liquid cooling technology is not accidental; it is an inevitable choice in the era of high power density. 
In the field of new energy vehicles, battery thermal runaway is a core safety concern. Liquid cooling, leveraging the advantage of high specific heat capacity of the liquid, can precisely control the temperature of the battery pack within the ideal range of 20-40℃, with the temperature difference controlled within 5℃. This level of precision is beyond the reach of air cooling technology. Currently, single-phase immersion liquid cooling has been widely applied in power batteries and energy storage systems in engineering, and dual-phase immersion liquid cooling has also become the focus of industry attention due to its excellent heat exchange capability. 
In the field of AI data centers, with the power consumption of chips like NVIDIA B200 exceeding 1000W, the traditional air-cooling solutions are no longer able to meet the cooling requirements of high-power (>25kW) cabinets. Liquid cooling technology, leveraging the high thermal conductivity of liquids, can reduce the PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of data centers to below 1.25, which aligns with the national "carbon neutrality" policy orientation. The cold plate liquid cooling is currently the mainstream solution in the industry, while the immersion liquid cooling, although having a higher cost for the cooling fluid, offers better cooling efficiency and is regarded as the next-generation technology direction. 
Core component: Pipeline system becomes a high-value area
In the liquid cooling industry chain, the pipeline and related components are one of the most valuable segments. 
The liquid cooling system is divided into the primary side and the secondary side. The primary side pipeline technology is relatively mature, while the core components of the secondary side pipeline (CDU + liquid cooling plate + Manifold + UQD quick connector) are the main direction for upgrading and iteration, with a higher value proportion. Among them, the UQD quick connector, with its no-leakage and hot-swappable characteristics, can meet the frequent maintenance requirements of data centers and has become the core component for rapid connection of the pipeline in the liquid cooling system. 
In terms of materials, the industry is undergoing an upgrade from traditional rubber to high-performance nylon (PA) tubing. According to QYResearch, in the era of new energy vehicles, nylon tubing has been widely used in the power system, three-electric system, and is gradually penetrating into the air conditioning system due to its advantages of lightweight and pressure resistance. The main application fields of plastic liquid cooling tubing have expanded from traditional fuel vehicles to three major sectors: new energy vehicles, data centers, and energy storage systems. 
Cross-border Integration: Auto Parts Companies Become "Hidden Champions" in the Liquid Cooling Market
It is worth noting that the liquid cooling pipeline industry exhibits a distinct "cross-border" characteristic - a large number of automotive component enterprises are now becoming core suppliers in the upstream of the liquid cooling system. 
The research report of Western Securities points out that the production raw materials, core forming processes, production procedures of automotive component enterprises, and the secondary side piping components of liquid cooling all have a high degree of consistency. The technologies accumulated during the era of gasoline vehicles, such as nylon extrusion molding, rubber vulcanization, and rapid joint manufacturing, have found new application scenarios in the era of liquid cooling for new energy vehicles.
